• Calculator inputs: the numbers you type into our calculators, such as weight, height, age, and goals. These are processed entirely in your browser. They are not sent to our servers, not saved to your device, and not shared with anyone. Refreshing or closing the page clears them.
• Usage and device data: when you visit, our analytics and advertising partners may automatically receive standard information such as your approximate location (derived from IP address), device and browser type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, time on page, and anonymized interactions like completing a calculation or opening an FAQ.
• Cookies and similar technologies: small files and identifiers stored by your browser, used for analytics and advertising as described below.
• Information you send us: if you email or call us, we receive whatever you choose to share, used only to respond to you.

How we use information

We use the information above to operate and secure the site, understand which calculators are useful and how visitors arrive, fix errors and improve the tools, display advertising that keeps the site free, and respond to messages you send us. We do not sell your personal information for money.

Analytics

Data retention

Calculator inputs are never stored, so there is nothing to retain. Aggregated analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings, typically up to 14 months. Advertising data is retained by our partners under their own policies. Emails you send are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

Data we do not collect

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for or store your name, email, or health information through the calculators. The health-related numbers you enter stay in your browser and never reach us.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

International visitors

The site is operated from the United States and served globally. If you access it from another country, you understand your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection rules than your own.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited data we handle. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
